To the many businesses, corporations, individuals and organizations who annually send a support donation after receiving the *POSITIVE IMPACT CALENDAR, we want to extend our deepest thanks and gratitude for helping to sustain the several Sankofa help projects.

And for those potential supporters who are hearing and reading about us for the first time: the annual POSITIVE IMPACT CALENDAR, outside its regular functioning as a calendar, displays a potpourri of international, cultural, sacred, secular and memorial dates that are celebrated or commemorated worldwide. In addition, each calendar month carries a daily lesson guide on how to disengage xenophobic ideologies and foster positive race relations internationally.

This calendar is free and is yours to keep regardless with or without sending a donation. But please keep in mind the children who must struggle for educational supplies and carry their own chairs and desks to the classroom. Those we have identified as:  “Children on the Outside”, who are only a few steps from being discarded.

The SANKOFA is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit and as such, donations are deductible under the Internal Revenue Service code.

Very little, if any contributions are used to support Administrative duties. Some of the vital avenues we find to be most needful:

Supporting international students as surrogated parents when assistance is needed.

Helping to build and restore safehouses and lodging for children abroad where there is very little help or no concern whatsoever.

Supplying proper text for home studying and school needs to often encourages school retention and pride.

Assisting communities on how to initiate and plan an Annual MAAFA Remembrance Day and why this program is important to the community and the nation.

STANDARD SANKOFA FUND RAISERS:

Donating to our local spring/fall Bazaar Sales is essential to the welfare of the organization.

Contributing financially to our three annual community programs.

Purchasing from the SANKOFA bookstore and auction sales.

Reading our daily Website home page for events and important announcements.

Sending a (check) donation to cancel out an outstanding Sankofa Help invoice.

SANKOFA has only mentioned some ways and means in which to share your thoughtfulness and generosity with the Children on the Outside, but there are many other methods; perhaps you, in your own personal way of thankfulness for the goodness and mercy that has been bestowed upon you and your family may have many suggestions.  Just act upon your heart’s response.

Thanks for reading and sharing our website and telling others about our work for children everywhere that are on the outside.
